Cara Isadora McKinney

Cara has performed for over 30 years on the public stage in numerous leading roles including Maria in Hurrah Player's Sound of Music, Holly Seabe ODU Theatre's Anton in Show Business, Magenta in ODU Theatre's Rocky Horror Picture Show, Veronique in Opera Breve's Hotel Casablanca, Dido in Lamar Opera Theatre's Dido and Aeneas. She most recently starred in commercial for Mack Mack AutoConnection and performed and served as music director for the Chrysler Museum's Glass Studio Phantom of the Hotshop. Cara teaches currently and in the past at Hampton Academy of Music, Dance, and Drama, Inc.; Music Makers; TakeLessons; M2 Pictures; Hurrah Players; Musika; TakeLessons; Trinity United Methodist of Beaumont, TX; Va Opera; Castaldi's Market and Grill. She has also been chosen to sing in master classes for renowned singers Joyce Castle, Harolyn Blackwell, Robynne Redmon, and Vivica Genaux.
